i read american psycho, and although i enjoyed it i found a good amount of it to be cringe. this book is like american psycho but less good, so basically i'm not gonna read it. i read some of it and i think the author was trying too hard

>>3510280theyre both different from one another, i wouldnt say one is better then the other but in the book Alex is a lot less glorified, it has a greater emphasis on classical music and "nasdat" is used a lot more in the book which makes the violent acts far more different to the ones in the movie.

Yes it's actually a really good read. If you're used to literature it'll seem very "weirdly written" however it's also strangely relatable at the same time. It's in my opinion a really good book of the modern white working class and their internal feelings that many say they feel

>>3510257 (OP)it's pretty good, it's mainly about the protagonist having a mental breakdown throughout the novella and daydreaming about committing violence so it's gets a bit rambly but it's a fun read
