Cuz its pride month id like to share a personal story of mine which is kinda related to gays or whatever. One time when i was a bit younger i was casually scrolling through rule34 because i was a jartypilled faqqot at the time. So all of a sudden i realised i needed to go piss, I usually close off all tabs before i leave my laptop unattended but just this once i thought i would be quick enough. Unfortunately the ONE FUCKING TIME i didn't close everything is the time that my dad decided he wanted to walk into my room and check on whether his son was scrolling through fucking porn, thjs was extremely giga behaviour from him. But I knew if he got to my computer i would be fucked. So, I had no choice but to literally dash infront of him back into my room to quickly close the tab, and i did. "What was that ?" He asked me. At first i tried to play it off and just say that "its nothing, its just a thing i need to check on". He said "no, you were going to the toilet, I'll ask you again. What was it." Being the sperg I was i just tried to not say anything and continued acting like I was doing something, but he kept on pressing me and I knew he was gonna start shouting in a few seconds. Then I had a genius plan, I said "It was a gif.". "What type of gif ?", "its a yaoi gif thing.", "What the fuck is that ?". I explained "Its just a funny thing my friend sent of 2 like guy characters kissing, its meant to be funny." He then started spewing an entire lecture about how homophobic he was and whatever and that he was disappointed in me for looking at this. He was like "im going to tell your mom about this".

Then my sibling came in after hearing all the commotion. I quickly searched up any random yaoi ship i knew, and i immediately searched the two faqs from Danganronpa SDI. This was another layer of security because my sibling knew how much I sperged out about the game at the time. Now heres the thing, because I knew that my sibling and my mom both weren't as homophobic as my dad,I could 100% survive showing them the yaoi kissing gif and they would know that my dad would have that kind of reaction to it and it would make sense. Then afterwards they could just calm my dad down and tell him its literal SNCA. Meanwhile if I had choked and just confessed that I was scrolling through rule34 my entire family would ACK me in the next second. I also told my dad it came from my friend, and that i wasn't scrolling through it naturally of my own accord. which kind of helped to soften the blow. Additionally my dad HAS our house ISP on speed dial to check whatever sites where visited immediately, so the critical part was telling him that I was doing that contextually would be shameful and disgusting in his and ONLY his eyes. But to the rest of the family it would be just be another passing thought, another "overreaction" by him. So in a way I juked him by "confessing" to something so bad and horrible and disgusting but is actually just a lure away from the real thing I was doing.

In the end, Danganronpa yaoi had actually saved me from getting my ass beat and my family permanently shaming me till the end of time. Therefore, I always have a special place in my heart for this ship.
