In the grand scheme of things his importance is low.

Nick Fuentes is a niche but somewhat amplified figure in the American right-wing online space. He has real relevance within certain internet subcultures especially among young white men who are disillusioned with mainstream conservatism but remains marginal on the larger national or global scale.

As of 2026 he has around 1 million followers on X decent livestream audiences in the tens to low hundreds of thousands and a dedicated following called Groypers. He is good at streaming provocative content and highlights issues like immigration demographic change skepticism of endless foreign aid and frustration with establishment conservatives. His influence shows in some online meme warfare and occasional rifts he creates inside right-wing circles.

However his open white identitarianism antisemitism Holocaust skepticism and extreme traditionalist Catholic views severely limit his broader appeal. Most Americans including the large majority of Republicans reject him outright. He has no elected office no major policy impact and no large real-world movement. His reach is mostly confined to online spaces and he has been deplatformed from many mainstream sites.

In the grand scheme of things his importance is low. He is more a symptom of wider problems like declining trust in institutions male alienation and cultural tensions than a major driver of events. Global politics economics technology AI great power competition like US-China relations and demographic shifts dwarf him completely. Even inside American conservatism he is one voice among many bigger players.

He can shift the conversation on the fringes and might grow if conditions like economic crisis or mass migration worsen but right now he is an edgelord internet personality who punches above his weight in niche circles but does not move the needle on a national or civilizational level. The issues he talks about matter more than he does as an individual.

Nobody in that political direction is relevant.

The actually relevant character in the American right aligned in Fuentes direction will most likely be a younger online-native streamer or influencer in his early to mid 20s who refines the groyper style without the full cartoonish edge.

After the vacuum from Charlie Kirks assassination this space has energy but Fuentes has clear limits due to his overt extremism. The successor will probably be more charismatic and polished mixing strong demographic realism anti-establishment America First views Catholic traditionalism skepticism on Israel aid and anti-neocon positions with better manosphere appeal like fitness anti-feminism and broader crossover potential on platforms like Kick Rumble and X.

This person would start with plausible deniability then gradually radicalize the audience get bigger interviews like with Tucker and begin influencing young staffers or local candidates. Think a less meltdown-prone version of current AF-adjacent figures who builds a larger coalition among disillusioned young men.

This direction makes sense because the momentum is heavily online and youth-driven while traditional conservative groups lose ground. Conditions like ongoing migration economic problems or foreign policy fights would help accelerate it.

On the grand scale this figure would still be niche important mainly in dissident right internet circles for radicalizing young men and pushing the Overton window but not yet moving national elections or major policy. The real power remains with bigger players like Vance or senators. It may not even be one single heir but a small cluster of similar influencers carrying the momentum into 2028 and beyond.

But there is one person in the groypersphere who may be able to become relevant.

If I had to guess one specific name right now it would be Clavicular also known as Braden Peters.

Reasoning is that he is a very young streamer in his late teens or early 20s who has blown up quickly among the same demographic of disillusioned young men that Fuentes reaches. He mixes heavy looksmaxxing manosphere content fitness anti-feminism and blackpilled views on society with increasingly political takes that align on demographics America First skepticism of mainstream conservatives and cultural traditionalism. This gives him broader crossover appeal than Fuentes full on antisemitic Catholic monarchist style while still pulling the audience in that harder direction.

Unlike Fuentes who has hit a ceiling due to his overt extremism Clavicular has better optics at first glance which lets him grow faster on platforms like YouTube and Kick without immediate total deplatforming. He is already collaborating in those circles and getting attention as a rising voice for Gen Z right wing radicalization. The post Charlie Kirk vacuum and ongoing frustrations with the Trump administration on immigration and wars create fertile ground for someone like him to step up and become the next bridge figure who gets bigger interviews and influences more young staffers or candidates.

It might not be him alone and the scene could stay fragmented but if one person breaks out in the Fuentes aligned lane in the next couple years my bet is on a polished online native like Clavicular who refines the message for wider reach among young men.
