Libertarian Ideology is largely founded on the idea of being the "logically superior ideology". This entire idea is based SOLELY on the fact that Lolberts are typically more logically sound than emotionally-driven Communists when it comes to debates.

This is why you almost NEVER see lolbert channels debate ANYBODY outside of exclusively Emotionally Unstable Communist breadtubers.

Schizophrenic sperg rant beyond this point

This idea of logical superiority leads to them being driven to the delusion that markets can naturally regulate themselves because "bad actors will magically go away because they'll just get out-competed….because I said so." Completely in spite of the fact that we have HISTORICAL EVIDENCE that monopolies do infact form out of unregulated free markets (such as the American Railway Monopoly of the 1800s.). Even today the American rail industry is still dominated by an oligopoly to a degree. As well as the ongoing Farming and Pesticides monopoly.
In the case of the 1800s railroad monopoly the government had to step in to break up the monopoly, NOT the free market.

Their argument for this typically goes along the lines of "well regulation leads to these monopolies" while completely ignoring the fact that the monopolies form first and then THEY make the regulations that drive away competition via bribery, backdoor deals, etc. If you regulate the market PRIOR to any companies pulling ahead then you wouldn't have any monopolies to begin with.
Then they'll say "well if the government wasn't involved in the market at all then they wouldn't have the power to make regulations".
In this case, the Monopolies will form their own security companies which enforce their desired regulations onto competitors, leading to total Anarchy, they're called Cartels, Nigger.

The railroad monopolies actually were a product of state-sanctioned privileges such as large land grants and subsidies. For example, the founders of the Central Pacific Railroad secured a federal charter that included nine million acres in land grants as well as a 26 million dollar subsidy funded by government issued bonds. The purest example of a natural monopoly arising, absent state-sanctioned privileges, would be Standard Oil. Standard Oil consistently lowered the price of oil and was already steadily decreasing in marketshare before the court-ordered bust of 1911.
