Plutonium - FPS, Modded versions of Call of Duty with multiplayer and zombies, you will have to find torrent links for both of the games though for this to work, use archive.org on the Plutonium pages for working magnets
Team Fortress 2 - Team Fortress 2
League of Legends - Not DOTA
Unturned - FPS, Similar to Day Z, has Minecraft-esque graphics, very simple to play and runs on everything
War Thunder - Tank/Plane/Boat shooter with a focus on realism, fairly grindy though

Why no free Steam games listed?
Just browsing my library, here's a few good multiplayer ones:
STRAFTAT - 1v1/2v2 retro movement pvp game.
Codename CURE - brokie Left 4 Dead, old source engine game.
Circle of Sumo - idk if the servers are still up, but it was really fun when I played during COVID. 2d pvp sumo game where you have to knock your opponent(s) off the platform, even has interactive maps (like trapdoors that fall and that kind of stuff). Different sumos have different stats, like some are fatter/faster/stronger o algo. Fun with friends, even cross-platform. iirc 8 people max in lobbies.
No More Room in Hell: Has survival mode, basically COD Zombies, and objective mode, where you have to escape a randomized scenario through a city o algo. I haven't played this one yet even though
Warhammer Verminitide 2: Not free rn but it goes 100% off sometimes.
Zomborg: Also not free rn but goes 100% off sometimes.
I think I have more but those are some of the best I remember.
