Thoughts on music being officially "remastered"? Can they be considered a replacement for the original or just another version even though it's closer to what the artist originally intended and sounds like when performing live?
I do the latter when listening to industrial even when i also like the newer version.

I only listen to remasters when I think the quality of the original hinders it, doe I can’t think of any examples right now. Most of the time, I can barely tell the difference, so I just use the original version of most albums when I listen to them for the first time
