You will be a lot more creative if you let yourself get bored. Let your mind find things to want to do. Switch off your phone and computer and just think for a bit. Do this on public transport if you take it.
Pay more attention to your surroundings, and if you want entertainment, read more. Reading is a very good hobby to be more creative, as you train your mind since it has to visualise the story in your head. If you walk around without staring at your phone or listening to music, you might notice something that sparks your creativity. Sometimes I want to build a building I saw in minecraft, or sketch it on paper.
