Just finished it and theres a scene at the end where John and the hologram Hal say I love you to eachother as their final conversation. I could feel the hatred the writes had for Hal (and Guy to a lesser extent) but I liked it better than anything else in the DCU so far (which isn't a high bar but I enjoyed it nontheless) but yeah the poltics made it worse.
