Yeah, a good thing to know is that nothing stays abandoned for very long in gentrified areas. So don't waste your time looking there.

I live in a very small country where land is quite expensive therefore it would be better to sell your plot to a new developer instead of leaving it abandoned because of the high property taxes even in the worst areas of the entire countrry.
