/mtv/ - Media and Interests

Personally, not a big fan. But everybody else seems to like it. I never got it, it just does not evoke any emotional reaction in me. Am I the weird guy?
I get it when it's an entire book, like Paradise Lost and Faust - I've read both and I liked them a lot, probably just as I would if they had been written in prose. But when it's like 12 lines of some pseudointellectual bullshit and people act like it's something worthy of praise it's always so bewildering to me. Even the world classics that are supposed to be "good" are just nonsense crap like
<I was riding the high road of virtue
<While the snow of sin was piling up on the way and
<As the stars were shining in the dark night sky
<My restless heart was fading away
And normieniggers reaction to it is always
<Oh my god… This is… Beautiful… I'm crying… This poem just changed my life…
