I hate the power of friendship, literal kiketroon commie goyslave propaganda, heroes should be loner chuds who hate society for how it is, their only friends should be people they come across but never meet again once they served their purpose
>inb4 some random nigger just soyquotes the word trope with troonella cuz the word trope got fucked by trannitors and "media literates"

Also another trope I hate is the whole "man with power is actually an insecure manchild", biggest kikeshill psyop made to make people into cucks

Honestly whoever made the whole "alturism = strength" bullshit needs to be beaten and raped, greatest kike psyop of all time

 β„–141305[Quote]

A pretty basic one but I hate the trope where a character will hear someone talking shit about them them leave but then the person talking shit about the character says something nice about them

 β„–141309[Quote]

I always hated the trope where new thing replaces old thing, old thing becomes le bad and now either the characters need to get old thing back or old thing saves the day

Maybe that singing kills le heckin evil monster like in that one finale of Adventure Time

 β„–141328[Quote]

>>141321
I kind of hate that one too, or a bigger extension of it is like the one that started with Aseop's Fable where the monster can't be fought and they just pull out a splinter they had in their foot that made them mad

I don't like the capeshit trope of a human character being able to fight mutants, gods or some other SNCA hand-to-hand only because he had a lot of "training.
<REDDIT SPACE
Batman (And maybe Robin) is a good example - 100% human, trained a lot, recieved some mysterious technique from tibetan monks and now can somehow defeat millions of goons and then superpowered villains. But doesn't kill and never uses a gun, of course.

Capeshit and superpowers in general just never makes sense and the fact people are acting like there is any form of science behind it is why most capeshit fans are considered irl soyjaks

Most superpowers ignore physics like Flash's speed not destroying everything in his path or Superman being able to lift something larger than him without it collapsing due to the lack of support in other places so the writers of these characters had to make up some bullshit like "oh Superman just has this gravitational forcefield around whatever he holds" or "flash has the speedforce" but the problem is that it kills the original idea, superman's super strength isn't just super strength it's just that + gravity manipulation or flash doesn't just have speed he is also some metaphysical principle

You supposedly have characters who exist in the same universe where eventually they will come across groundbreaking technology that can make life better for anyone or solve most conflicts with ease but they do absolutely nothing with it, I get there's supposed to be drama but a lot of problems in capeshit stories could be solved with the powers they give their characters or the characters that exist in their universe

This applies to the fact you have street tiers existing in the same universe as a character who can destroy the entire planet just by punching the ground really hard

 β„–141363[Quote]

When suddenly, the action gets raped and rapidly decomposes into troony melodrama about small wee wee pecker or some other snca

 β„–141364[Quote]

>>141351
Most capeshit evolved from newspaper strips that wanted to maximize normie appeal, so they can't make the powers too complex or interesting otherwise your neighbour Michael can't understand it

Casting old guy so he can die, getting dog in a movie so he can get injured/die. Second one always made me really sad.

and only one of these isnt shit for goyim slaves to eat up congrats you have proven my point sort of kind of

 β„–141455[Quote]

>I assume
Keep on guessing boy. The root of it is a combination of overexposure and bad writing. People die in every other movie, so without proper buildup nobody cares fan abak some random nigger dying. On the other hand, animals are assumed innocent unless showed otherwise, and their death is either a result of human cruelty or some heroic feat, so that makes it tragic o algo.

 β„–141461[Quote]

>swear revenge on villain
>spend whole movie/game massacring thousands of henchmen for the chance to get revenge on villain
>overpower villain at the very end
>decide not to kill them because "killing le bad" (even&doe u genocided an entire nation's worth of henchmen to confront the villain in the first place)
actual redditslop writing

 β„–141462[Quote]

They also do shit worse then killing that can make the average person into a fucking vegetable and make them eat stake from a tube but will let the villain keep his arms in tact

Capeshit writers making their Caped Crusaders absurdly overpowered as fuck.

Take the Flash for example, not only can he run faster than light, but he can also think faster than light and perceive faster than a Attosecond. An Attosecond is the shortest measurable period of time imaginable btw. The Flash should be completely untouchable and undefeatable, yet somehow he still loses to low-tier villains like Captain Cold and Heatwave (regular people with simple gadgets mind you)

This is why Capeshit media is so hard to take seriously. How can there be big stakes in the story if your characters are so OP.
You know it’s bad when even Tranime can write well written, consistent, grounded powers with actual weaknesses and limits better than capeshit lol

 β„–141466[Quote]

>>141465
Yeah this shit just keeps getting ignored cuz they say "oh it's the expression of the event that counts it's not meant to be literal it's supposed to act as a way to describe something integral to the plot"
