That ending was so miserably unsatisfying I'm actually upset.
I know it's troonslop, but watching an episode of it bimonthly as they come out was a nice constant.
The only thing it did decently was the interpersonal relationships between the characters, as well as the typical cartoon horseshit with needlessly high production value. Instead of leaning into that, they decided to bog it down with muh heckin' psychological horror.
Instead of actually climbing to some sort of conclusion with real, tangible stakes, they decided to have the characters converse in cringe, unnatural ways.
Also, the pacing was all over the place, and there's a bunch of plot holes apparently. All I know is, seeing the characters NOT escape and be content with staying in the circus for all of eternity, when the entire show has been building up toward the contrary, was incredibly anticlimactic.

tsmt. It was the first finale in a long time I actually looked forward to and watched on premiere live stream. Then it was 1/10.

If you want shit with a fight scene every 10 minutes that you don't have to use your brain to watch then go watch the latest marvel movie

Unironically, we 'teens could write a better ending than Goonworx ever could.

Tragically, that might be an improvement over what we got.

>>140172Geg, this nigger's actually defending it? Look, I don't have a problem with therapy-tier shit but it's very shallow. Also, your example is on the complete other end of the spectrum. Just because I find cartoon characters voiced by faggots whining about muh feelings for 30 minutes to be boring doesn't mean I wanted Infinity War o algo asi.
