act 1 - the SNCA nonsencial introduction
>kinger reveals the answer to one of (if not the biggest) questions in the entire show within the first 2 minutes of the finale
>ragatha talks about how she somehow always knew that they were all just digital copies of their IRL selves (even though theres nothing to suggest that any of the characters knew this in any of the previous episodes)
>pomni somehow forgets how to conjure (even though she literally JUST did it like a few hours earlier) and kinger teaches her again
>uses this interaction as a way to just repeat their previous conversation in episode 3
>pomni LITERALLY SAYS they already had this conversation in episode 3
>useless montage (there's a lot of these in the finale because the pacing is dogshit) of kinger teaching the rest of the cast how to conjure, which they proceed to never use again
>ragatha and pomni suddenly heave a heartfelt moment and become besties again out of nowhere (despite their interactions in the previous 4 episodes showing them growing apart)

act 2 - jax's amazing digital traumatic flashbacks
>his "abstraction" and pomnis attempt to try and save him goes on for 30 minutes (literally half of the finales entire runtime)
>still manages to completely fuck up the pacing and waste time with meaningless bullshit that never goes anywhere while ignoring all the actually important bits
>does the split personality bit that goes on for too long and doesn't show anything about jax and his relationships that we didn't already know
>kaufmo and ribbit get 0 characterization other than "they were friends with jax before they abstracted"
>cries about his daddy and mommy issues and explains how he told his mom something he shouldn't have (probably that he was a tranny or some shit but who cares its never specified what)
>transfem/internalized misogyny never gets explored other than him wearing a pink ribbon on his ears, none of the other characters acknowledge it either
>jax learns nothing after causing ribbits' abstraction with his bullshit and immediately does the same thing to kaufmo, almost doing it a third time with pomni/ragatha
>no room for him to grow or make things right because he already abstracted in the first 10 minutes of the film so the only way to save the most hated character in the show is to turn him into a whiny crybaby faggot for the audience to pity at the very last second
>proceeds to ruin Stevie Wonder's best song immediately after in another montage

act 3 - caine's amazing digital exposition dump
>caine comes back for some fucking reason (anybody saying its because kinger didn't empty the recycle bin or something is just coping)
>sucks every bit of mystery and intrigue that the show had spent years building up
>systematically lays out every character's backstory and who they were in real life
>his character development is "i threw the blue ball AI away and im nice now :)"
>proceeds to explain every characters IRL backstory a SECOND time in order to prove that hes nice now
>even with the moon thing & zooble both pointing out that it would be a long time before they were able to trust caine again they immediately cut to another fucking montage of them playing D&D and playing softball together and now theyre all cool with him
>in fact, despite them all vehemently hating being trapped in the circus and spending the entire run of the show trying to escape, just them knowing that their IRL counterparts end up having successful lives makes them content with staying in the circus
>"and here…im just pomni" might be the WORST piece of dialogue i've heard in this entire show, literally marvel tier writing.

this is the finale circus_2 and all the other TADCfags spent 3 years waiting for GEGGGGGG
