two episodes left and it feels like nothing has really changed since S4. We're expected to believe that America is some apocalyptic dystopia on the level of 1984 and Children of Men yet it looks exactly the same as every other season. And that's only really the beginning of my complaints with this new season. Like how Kimiko's personality is just a complete 180 from every other season

Haven't seen E7 yet but I assume it's just more of the same. Will watch tonight and reply with my thoughts.

this episode sucked such fucking shit man. We spent nothing but jerking off all season 5 and for the penultimate episode, once again, nothing fucking happens but "buildup" to absolutely nothing.

I cannot believe this is a show written by actual adults who have college degrees in writing. How did an entire room of writers create and approve this script and at no point did ONE of them say "Guys, this is absolutely fucking retarded"?

Once again it's one step forward five steps back. We're still in the "rising action" when in any other story we'd be at the climax. Fuck Kripke, he's a goddamn hack and whatever good writing came out of this show was clearly a fluke.
