IV mogs in terms of atmosphere, story, driving, and weapon "feel" (people seem to "react" more when you shoot them). Driving in particular is great, it's actually challenging to go fast and weave between traffic and the vehicle deformation tech is insane.

I've only played one and Im still playing through it.
Might get a PS3 in a couple months, IV looks really interesting and I could play V, III and the other ones on it too by homebrewing it.

Playing GTA: Chinatown Wars right now on my 2DS, very fun and would recommend it to anybody who has a DS or PSP as it came out on that too. It feels great having a fully traversable map on the DS, the music is pretty good and the quests are fun too. Its also set in liberty city. Theres a whole drug dealing minigame system that is fun to mess around with too
