Even without understanding the language and only having translated lyrics as subtitles, the emotion is so clearly conveyed and the music has so much soul. I recommend listening to music by the soviet/russian navy in particular, they have a lot of good songs.
Most modern music lacks this soul. It wasn't made to convey a deeper emotion like longing, sorrow or pain, or tell a story, it was made to make a jewish singer and a jewish production company as many shekels as possible. The propaganda of the last century manages to beat the "art" of this century.
