i have a zippo lighter and it doesnt work. it didnt work even brand new when i opened it out of the box. do you need to do something special to light a zippo????

Maybe you had no flint, maybe you didnt pour gasoline, maybe you poured too much gasoline. Could be anything, I had mine for quite some time and stopped working too, I've been overfilling it all this time it seems. I will replace the cotton one of these days but not today and not the day that follows either.

So you mean to tell me, they sell zippo lighters, with light fluid NOT included?

Of course not, its not sealed. They sell you prepacked ones. The same ones you can buy from your local store.
