does anybaldi else just not get the appeal of watching live streamers for any purpose other than raiding?
<
for any given streamer, at least 90% of the live's duration will be snca with nothing of note happening, either dead air or the host mumbling to himself about something completely banal and uninteresting. for the small portion that actually is interesting, it comes at the payoff of countless minutes or even hours waiting for something "good" to happen with absolutely no guarantee that it will. besides, what do you get out of watching it live instead of in a singular youtube video or a compilation? the fact you can type out "OH MY FAUCI I WAS HERE TO WITNESS THIS PLEASE LET THIS COMMENT BE SEEN FOR 0.2 PICOSECONDS WHEN THE VOD IS REUPLOADED TO YOUTUBE" as you clap your hands and shit in your chink manufactured gaming chair? even for background noise, most jewtube videos from half-decent channels will give you more informative or humorous content than watching insufferable nigger with a camera#933821 soying out over getting a headshot or jumpscare on the current FoTM game that ZOGtok decided was worthy of being popular. i just don't get it

if you're watching a small streamer i guess the appeal is that you get to interact with them directly
raiding, i would consider it a form of interacting with the streamer except you're doing it to piss them off instead of doing it to be their internet fanboy
even for big streamers you can get quite parasocial as long as you have money to pay for shouts (which means you're really just being findommed by a grown ass man over a tiny shred of attention GEGGGGG)

I only recently found a streamer that I like, and he doesn't use an avatar, he doesn't have a soyboy room, he's fat, mediocre looking at best, doesn't obsess over politics, is very good at a game, but also isn't a faggot that likes to act like the game should be a sweat fest and only pander to super high level gameplay.

Not telling you who he is, THOUGH.

i used to watch the two relevant vinesauce streamers (vinny and joel) when i was 12, even at the time i found streams to be tedious and i depended on highlights and timestamps.
