Before activism had much of a say over everything and when the developers had a spine to stand up for what makes the games good on their own. Meanwhile, neo343 is basically asking Microsoft about what features it should copy from other currently games. It's a shame all the old Bungie guys were mainly focused on Destiny instead of Reach. It could have turned out a lot better.
