not him but getting those leather "u" suspenders is a pain in the ass, other than looting them off ww2 cold weather pants(which are usually falling apart) ive only ever found one place selling them, that being a firefighter surplus site.
also finding pants that fit with them is a headache in its self

yeah ive noticed how hard it is to find them. ive only ever found them in a store when i visited tombstone az (which i live relatively close to). i didnt feel like buying a whole pair of pants to go with them because i figured i could find a cheaper pair. the leather suspenders on their own were like $70 and the pants were probably about the same. i guess i shouldnt be cheaping out but yknow

it wasnt that hard, at least for me, but its expensive especially if you want to work with heavier fabrics like japanese denim since i had to buy an industrial sewing machine from how thick the fabric is, if your just doing shirts, which is what i recommend, then you can use somewhat cheap sewing machines.

I completely forgot to respond to this. something i notice a lot of people forget when trying to pull off older style of clothing is they forget material but most importantly forget fitting, many of these clothes were fitted to every person by a tailor and fitting can make or break an outfit especially older styles
