Before I was purely transphobic but after seeing how happy and healthy this trans person was I had to look further. I recently started experimenting with things like growing out my hair and whatnot. That same friend is encouraging me to take hormone injections and I'm really really considering it. What should I do?

Video games weren't really viewed as good in my family, so I started playing a lot of them when I became a pre-teen. I started playing Splatoon 2 right when it came out, and same for the 3. I started Splatoon 2 thinking I was a girl, and found out a bit later that I was transmasc, just in time when I purchased the octo extansion, and created my first masculine playable character ever. And it felt so good.

I only learnt recently how to successfully post drawings in game, but I've been reading and seeing all others players' drawings at each start of the game on Splatoon 2, and now on the 3 aswell, even if it takes more time now. I read very often funny things, really wholesome things, memes, or just really amazing drawings.

And trough the years, I saw so many other trans players using it for affirming themselves, sharing a bit of their life, how their transition is going, cheering up others, etc…

It's too big to share in the drawing frame in game, so I wanted to share this here, to every trans Splatoon players passing by; I love you, I'm proud of you, and I hope you're doing okay. A huge congrats to all the players announcing that they achieved a new step of they're transition, I'm so happy for you ! I wish good luck to the one announcing a gender affirming surgery soon, I hope everything will go well ! A big virtual hug to the one still struggling with transphobic family, and/or are in situation that doesn't let them achieve their goals, you're not alone and I love you, things will get better !
