I would agree, if more rural areas had a way to socialise. They are great if you want to bring up a family, or were born there and know people. But moving to a village will likely mean you are alone for a long time until the locals accept you, and even when they do, you might not find anyone you like. I'd say the best course of action is to try to find a girlfriend in the city, and settle down in the countryside.
As an environment they are much better than the city. It is what we were always meant to live in. But with modern soyciety, most of us are unfortunate enough to be born in cities, and have all out connections there. Best to use the only useful thing you have there, then get out ASAP.
