I don’t usually write reviews, but the Soyjak Virtual Pet Project has pushed me to my breaking point. I downloaded it thinking it would be a silly little distraction—feed the thing, poke it, whatever. Instead, I’ve been living in digital hostage-taking hell for three straight days.
First of all, the “pet” doesn’t stay in its little window. Oh no. This gremlin wanders ALL OVER my screen like it owns the place. It sits on top of other apps. It blocks text fields. It STARES at me while I’m trying to work. And here’s the best part: there is NO CLEAR WAY TO GET RID OF IT.
I’ve closed the app.
I’ve force-quit the app.
I’ve restarted my computer.
I’ve even uninstalled the entire program.
THE LITTLE DOLL IS STILL THERE.
It just keeps popping back up, smiling like it enjoys my suffering.
At one point it started tapping on my screen like it wanted attention while I was in a Zoom meeting. I had coworkers asking, “Uh… what is that?” I honestly don’t know!! I CAN’T MAKE IT GO AWAY!!
Developers, if you see this: WHY would you create a virtual pet that behaves like a cursed PNG demon? Why is there no off switch? No exit button? No mercy??
Until you add a sane way to remove this thing from my screen, this project gets a solid, furious 1 star from me.
Fix your nightmare pet.

the developer died in the soysylum fire, no one alive understand the Soyjak virtual pet code. Some people say the program is cursed since the day it got uploaded was the same of the fire.
