it's proof that the history of 4chan is mostly fictional because if we're to believe that people like that were the heart and soul of its early kulchur it wouldn't have lasted more than two weeks geg. This whole site would fall apart under a stiff breeze if it were left to its own userbase and yet it's still here and all 4chan can send to stop it is some guy who bumps every thread on /a/ and some guy who replies to everything with the same gif. That is all 4chan would have ever had if it owed anything to lolicons and hikkineets geg.

even though im a nusoi i feel like things like the satania guy and whatnot are just low effort larp. the way you put it i see now that these types of things dont make any sense. mocking potentially new users on a site, yet it still managed to grow? i think part of the blame is those YouTube videos that portray 4chan as some messed up edgy website where people do bad things 24/7 thus distorting the normie social media perception of it leading to said normies doing edgy things to act out their distorted perception.
