do like 5 minutes of research to see how the people you're trying to act like type, and make it a slowburn. posting one off low effort spam threads almost always do not work
time your bait posts around the time amerigods sleep and eurogods wake up, you'll get baits from both
the first 5-10 minutes of a thread matter more than anything, if you can keep people seething at you around that time more nusois will join in
once you're good at it you can add ids to your thread to prove it isn't one nigger samefagging

i think bait (when done well) can be healthy for the site. bait is good when it isn't obvious, when people engage with it wholeheartedly. its very difficult craft something like that, especially with how on edge 'teens are for bait nowadays. also just absurd bullshit bait is pretty gemmy. unfortunately, 90% of "bait" nowadays is gay """ironic""" attentionwhoring

or just spamming dust on the 'catty to heckin own da leaky nusois or something. i think the problem stems from both the users and the admins. some 'teens just cant help themselves from engaging with obvious bait, instead of doing the reasonable thing and hiding the thread. on the other hand, admins have become far to lax on what passes for /soy/ rule 2. too often, you see literal NAS fetish content and shit of the same calibre being posted, and nothing happens. its just a sad state of affairs over all.
