The classical races: • Men - One of the earliest races, and the most prominent, and most common, and made in the image of the Creator. They don't really like the Orcs. • Elves - Beautiful, civilized, magical, and long-lived. These are one of the most civilized of races. They practice magic and are the wisest. But they are very racist and think that they are the most supreme of all. Furthermore, they don't really like Dwarves. They are a sister race to Man. • Dwarves - Merchants, miners, craftsmen, and inventors. Dwarves in their history are known for their prestige of mining and craftsmanship, commonly hired by the others to forge their weapons. They are resistant to magic. They don't like the Elves. • Centaurs - These guys are a nomadic people originating from this world's equivalent of the Central Asian steppes. They are also used as hired armies/mercenaries. They're also responsible for this world's equivalent of the Mongol Empire. — Sapient beasts (or Beastmen), which will be listed below: • Aegrians - They are quite stubborn, and they are commonly found in their Rocklands, minding their own business, occasionally doing trade. They evolved from goats. Their culture is quite similar to the Slavs of the Balkan Peninsula. • Lupines - The Lupines (or Wolfmen) they have a tribal and a warrior culture. Sometimes they could abandon their hunter-gatherer lifestyle and become mercenaries or hired armies. • Simians - A race originating from the Jungles, they are the smartest of all the Beastmen races. They come from monkeys, the Simians are the most intellectually advanced of all the beastmen. Curious, quick thinking. • Ovidians - They have a strong rivalry against the Wolfmen. They are peaceful, they're known for their textiles and wool. They have a semi-nomadic pastoral culture. • Pachans - Evolving from llamas, they share the same homeland as the Aegrians. Culture is similar to the Native Americans of Chile. • Crocmen - A hardy and cunning race, shaped by the marshes and rivers and wetlands that they live in. They from crocodiles. • Vulpines - Evolving from foxes, these people are known for their cunning and wit. They commonly occupy professions such as banking and investment, but they practice usury, which is a common source of controversy for them. Other than banking, they also occupy intellectual spaces.
