Gameplay-wise, it would be an arcade dogfighting simulator along the lines of Ace Combat, but story-wise it would be a political drama like Deus Ex. It would take place in a world where a smaller scale industrial revolution occured in Europe some time between 1000-1500, and fighter jets were invented in this time among many other things. So militaries would have modern technology but still with a medieval aesthetic. Europe's political landscape would basically be every large Christian empire that I think is cool would coexist, meaning there would be a HRE, Byzantine Empire, Russian Empire, British Empire, etc. I don't know who the bad guys would be, maybe an Islamic state like the Ottomans or maybe some comically evil/atheistic version of the U.S. The story would heavily use Christian imagery and themes, and massive superweapons would be involved as well, like Ace Combat. Thoughts?

I think the TempleOS flight sim looks cool, a little outdated and static in terms of color scheme but the high render distance and low-quality textures look really good together
